Setup Instructions

To set up your tent using the kit's components:

1. Position Tent: Lay out your tent in the desired location according to its specific setup instructions.

3. Drive Stakes: Use the dual-head mallet to firmly drive each tent stake into the ground. Strike the flat head of the stake until it is securely anchored and the tent is taut.

Operating Instructions

Tent Breakdown (Stake Removal)

When it's time to pack up your tent, use the extruder to remove stakes:

1. Attach Extruder: Hook the end of the extruder (stake puller) under the head of a tent stake.
2. Pull Stake: Apply steady, upward pressure to the extruder handle to leverage the stake out of the ground. For very stubborn stakes, a slight wiggling motion may help.
3. Repeat: Continue this process for all remaining tent stakes.

Campsite Cleanliness

Maintain a clean tent and campsite using the broom and dustpan:

• Use the hand broom to sweep dirt, leaves, and other debris from the tent floor or immediate campsite area.
• Collect the swept debris with the dustpan for proper disposal.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity of your kit:

• Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the mallet, stakes, and extruder to remove any dirt or moisture. The broom and dustpan can be rinsed with water if necessary and allowed to air dry completely.
• Storage: Ensure all components are clean and dry before storing them in the mesh draw string bag. Store the kit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

• Stakes Difficult to Drive: If the ground is very hard, try to find a slightly softer spot. Ensure you are striking the stake head squarely with the mallet.
• Stakes Difficult to Remove: Use the extruder as directed. If a stake is particularly stubborn, try wiggling it slightly while pulling, or rotate it a quarter turn before pulling.
