5. Setup and Connections

Follow these steps to set up your Pre Box S2 Digital:

  1. Power Connection: Connect the supplied 5V DC power adapter to the "Power 5V" input on the rear panel. If connecting via USB to a computer, the unit may draw power from the USB port, but using the dedicated power supply is recommended for optimal performance.
  2. Source Connection:
    • USB: Connect a USB cable from your computer (PC/Mac) or compatible digital audio player to the USB input on the Pre Box S2 Digital.     • Analog Output: Connect RCA cables from the "Output Left/Right" jacks on the rear panel to the analog input of your amplifier, preamplifier, or active speakers.
    • Headphone Output: Plug your headphones into the 6.3mm jack on the front panel.
