Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control and receiver require batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of both units and insert the specified battery type, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartments securely.

2. Connecting the Receiver to the Camera

1. Locate the remote control terminal on your camera. This is typically a small port on the side of the camera body.
2. Connect one end of the provided shutter release cable to the receiver unit.
3. Connect the other end of the shutter release cable to your camera's remote control terminal.
4. The receiver can be mounted on the camera's hot shoe or placed nearby.

3. Pairing and Channel Setting

Operating Instructions

General Controls

Interval Timer (INTVL)

The Interval Timer allows you to set a specific time period between exposures, up to 100 hours. For example, if set to 10 minutes, an exposure will be taken every 10 minutes until the set exposure count is reached or manually stopped. This is ideal for time-lapse photography.

BULB / Long Exposure (LONG)

This mode enables long exposures, allowing the shutter to remain open for an extended duration, up to 100 hours. This is essential for low-light photography or capturing light trails.

Exposure Count (N)

The Exposure Count setting allows you to specify the total number of exposures to be taken in a sequence, up to 399 times. For instance, if set to 30, the device will trigger the shutter 30 times according to the other timer settings.

Maintenance

• Keep the device clean and dry. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe surfaces.
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
• Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit yourself, as this may void the warranty and cause damage.

Troubleshooting

• Device not powering on: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are fresh.
• Remote not triggering camera:
  • Ensure the receiver is correctly connected to the camera's remote port.
  • Verify that both the remote and receiver are set to the same channel.
  • Check camera settings to ensure it is ready to accept remote triggers.
  • Confirm batteries in both units are charged.
