2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

For most accurate results, place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid carpets, rugs, or uneven flooring, as these can affect accuracy.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 First Use and Calibration

Before the first use or if the scale has been moved, it needs to be initialized for accurate readings:

1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
2. Press one foot on the scale briefly to turn it on and see random numbers on the screen.
3. Remove your foot. The display will return to zero (0.0). The scale is now calibrated and ready for use.

5.2 Taking a Measurement

1. Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface.
2. Gently step onto the center of the scale with bare feet. Stand still and distribute your weight evenly.
3. The display will show your weight. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
4. Step off the scale. The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds to conserve battery.
