Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert one (1) AA battery, ensuring the polarity (+ and -) matches the diagram inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Setting the Time

1. Locate the Clock Time Knob on the back of the clock (labeled "TIME").
2. Rotate this knob in either direction until the hour and minute hands display the correct current time.

3. Setting the Alarm

1. Locate the Alarm Knob on the back of the clock (labeled "ALARM").
2. Rotate this knob until the alarm hand points to your desired wake-up time.
3. Ensure the Alarm Switch (ON/OFF) is in the "ON" position for the alarm to activate.

Operating Instructions

Alarm Function

• When the alarm time is reached, the clock will emit a classic beep alarm sound.
• The alarm is designed to ascend in volume, starting gently and gradually becoming more hurried to ensure you wake up.
• The alarm will sound for approximately 1 hour or until it is manually turned off or the snooze bar is pressed.

Snooze Function

• To activate the snooze function, press the large Snooze/Light Button located on the top of the clock when the alarm is sounding.
• This will temporarily suspend the alarm for 5 minutes, allowing for a short additional rest.
• The alarm will resume after 5 minutes. You can repeat the snooze function as needed.

Light Function

• To illuminate the clock dial for night-time viewing, press the large Snooze/Light Button on the top of the clock.
• The entire dial will light up for a few seconds, providing clear visibility in the dark.
• This function is independent of the alarm, meaning you can use the light at any time without activating or snoozing the alarm (unless the alarm is already sounding).

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
• Battery Replacement: Replace the AA battery when the clock's movement slows down, the light function becomes dim, or the alarm sound weakens.
