Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your scanner, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Keep the scanner clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior.
  • Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device.
  • Regularly check the film and photo trays for any debris that might interfere with scanning.
  • Store the scanner in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your QuickConvert 2.0 scanner, consider the following common solutions:

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is correctly installed and fully charged. Connect the scanner to a power source using the USB cable and adapter.
  • Images appear blurry: Check that the photos or film are properly seated in the trays/holders and are flat. Ensure the scanner lens is clean.
  • SD card error: Reinsert the SD card. If the issue persists, try formatting the card (this will erase all data) or use a different compatible SD card.
  • Cannot transfer files to computer: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the scanner and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
