Mounting the Transceiver
Use the provided mounting bracket and screws to secure the transceiver in a suitable location within your vehicle. Ensure the location allows for proper ventilation and easy access to controls and the microphone.
Power Connection
Connect the car power cable to the transceiver and then to your vehicle's 12-13.8V DC power source. It is recommended to connect directly to the vehicle's battery or a fused accessory circuit capable of supplying at least 5A. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent power interruptions.
Antenna Connection

- Select Frequency/Channel:
- In VFO mode (Frequency mode), use the Progress Knob or the Up/Down keys on the microphone to change frequencies.
- In Memory mode (Channel mode), use the Progress Knob or the Up/Down keys on the microphone to select stored channels. Press the V/M button to switch between modes.
- Transmit: Press and hold the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button on the speaker microphone to transmit. Release to receive.
- Dual Band Quad Standby: The radio supports monitoring four frequencies simultaneously. The display shows all four frequencies, allowing you to monitor activity across different bands.
