2. Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

3. Product Features

The Norton Clipper TR 202 Tile Cutter is designed for precise and efficient cutting of various tile materials. Key features include:

4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Stand Assembly: Unfold the integrated legs and ensure they are securely locked into position. Place the machine on a firm, level surface.
  3. Water Tray: Fill the water tray with clean water up to the indicated level. This is crucial for blade cooling and dust suppression.
  4. Blade Installation (if not pre-installed):
    • Disconnect the machine from the power supply.
    • Follow the instructions in the separate blade installation guide or on the machine for safely mounting the diamond blade onto the arbor.
    • Ensure the blade is oriented correctly for cutting and securely tightened.
  5. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to a suitable 230V, 16A grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operation

  1. Pre-Operation Check: Before each use, verify that the water tray is filled, the blade is secure, and all safety guards are in place.
  2. Marking the Tile: Clearly mark the desired cut line on the tile using a pencil or marker.
  3. Positioning the Tile: Place the tile firmly on the cutting table, aligning the marked line with the blade's path. Use the fence or guide for straight cuts.
  4. Adjusting Cutting Angle (for miter cuts): Loosen the locking mechanism for the cutting head and tilt it to the desired angle (0° to 45°). Securely tighten the locking mechanism.
  5. Starting the Machine: Turn on the power switch. Allow the diamond blade to reach full operating speed before beginning the cut. Ensure the water pump is functioning and water is flowing to the blade.
  6. Making the Cut: Slowly and steadily feed the tile into the rotating blade. Do not force the tile; let the blade do the work. Maintain a consistent feed rate.
  7. Completing the Cut: Continue feeding until the cut is complete. Turn off the machine and wait for the blade to stop completely before removing the tile.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tile cutter.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
