Setup

Battery Charging Safety Instructions

Warning! Please comply with the instructions below. Failure to do so will result in fire and explosion hazards.

• Never charge the battery pack unattended.
• Never use a damaged, wet, or shorted charger.
• Never allow children under 14 years of age to charge battery packs.
• Never leave the battery pack inside the vehicle during charging.
• Do not use swollen, deformed, broken, torn, or damaged batteries.
• Do not connect the USB charger to a smartphone adapter with an output greater than 5V/2A. High output chargers can damage your batteries and USB.
• Do not leave batteries idle for a long period. Fully charge the battery pack before each use.
• Do not use wet batteries. Never attempt to charge wet batteries.
• Do not store batteries in high temperatures. Store them in a dry, cool, and clean place.

Transmitter Setup

Insert AA batteries (not included) into the transmitter's battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity. The 2.4GHz full-function proportional radio control system provides a stable control range within 280 feet.

Operating Instructions

Your RC truck comes 99% Ready-To-Run. After charging the battery and installing it in the vehicle, and setting up the transmitter, you are ready to operate.

Pairing the Vehicle with the Transmitter

Ensure the vehicle and transmitter are turned off. Turn on the vehicle, then turn on the transmitter. The LEDs on the transmitter and ESC/receiver should flash during binding and remain solid when bound. If issues persist, refer to the troubleshooting section.

Driving

Use the steering wheel for left and right turns. The trigger controls forward, brake, and reverse. Push the trigger forward for acceleration and pull back for braking/reverse. The truck is powered by a superb and fast brushed RC 380 motor, reaching speeds up to 36 KPH.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your RC truck.

• Cleaning: After each use, especially in dusty or muddy conditions, clean the truck to remove dirt and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
• Waterproof Features: The truck features splash waterproof electronic components, allowing it to run on short grass, gravel roads, and concrete ground without worries. However, it is not recommended to submerge the vehicle.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect all moving parts, including wheels, gears, and suspension components, for wear or damage.
• Battery Care: Follow the battery charging safety instructions diligently. Store batteries properly when not in use.

Q1: Vehicle Does Not Move

• Possible Cause: Transmitter batteries installed incorrectly. Solution: Check that the batteries are properly installed in the transmitter and reinstall if needed.
• Possible Cause: Vehicle battery is dead or damaged. Solution: Fully charge the vehicle battery. If charging does not work, replace with a new battery. Also, inspect the USB charger for any damage.
• Possible Cause: Vehicle is not bound/paired with transmitter. Solution: The LEDs on the transmitter and ESC/receiver should flash during binding and remain solid when bound. Replace any defective components.
• Possible Cause: Power shuts off immediately after binding / No functions work after binding. Solution: Check for any loose wires or plugs on the servo, motor, and ESC/receiver. Turn power off and back on to re-bind. If issue persists, replace ESC/receiver.
• Possible Cause: Possible damage to transmission parts like gears, drive shafts, and outdrive cups. Solution: Inspect and replace any damaged drivetrain components.
• Possible Cause: ESC low voltage cut-off activated. Solution: Remove vehicle battery, allow to cool, and then fully recharge.
• Possible Cause: Damaged motor. Solution: Look for visible damage like burn smells, broken wires, debris in motor. Replace motor if damaged.

Q2: Poor or No Steering / Q3: Vehicle Does Not Reverse / Q4: Loss of Control

• Poor or No Steering:
  • Possible Cause: Dead or damaged vehicle battery. Solution: Fully charge battery or replace if needed.
  • Possible Cause: Steering trim not properly set. Solution: Adjust steering trim until the front wheels are perfectly aligned.
  • Possible Cause: Damaged servo. Solution: If vehicle moves but does not steer with good connections, replace the servo.
  • Possible Cause: Damaged steering components. Solution: Replace any damaged steering links, plates, posts, servo arm etc. Listen for servo noises indicating internal gear damage.
• Vehicle Does Not Reverse:

  • Possible Cause: Incorrect throttle center point setup. Solution: Turn power off/on without moving trigger until the vehicle is bound with the transmitter to allow ESC/Receiver's auto setup of the throttle center point.

  • Possible Cause: Damaged waterproof ESC/Receiver or transmitter. Solution: Replace the waterproof ESC/Receiver unit or transmitter.
• Loss of Control:
  • Possible Cause: Vehicle moves on its own after powering on. Solution: Turn power off/on without moving trigger until binding complete. May need to replace ESC/receiver or transmitter if issue persists.
  • Possible Cause: Vehicle suddenly loses control while driving. Solution: Check for signal interference and sufficient battery power. Try driving in a new location. Replace ESC/receiver if issue persists.
  • Possible Cause: Vehicle sometimes responds to the transmitter, but occasionally moves on its own. Solution: Try in the other place. If the problem persists, consider replacing the transmitter.
