Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your microwave oven.

  1. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
  2. Cleaning the Interior: For spills and splatters, wipe the interior with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and microwave for a few minutes until steam forms. This will loosen food particles for easier cleaning.
  3. Turntable Care: The glass turntable and turntable ring are removable for easy cleaning. They can be washed by hand with mild soap and water or placed in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before returning them to the microwave.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your microwave, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Microwave does not start: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet. Ensure the door is closed properly. Check your household fuse or circuit breaker.
  • Food is not heating: Verify that the cooking time and power level are set correctly. Ensure the door is fully closed.
  • Turntable is not rotating: Check if the turntable and turntable ring are correctly positioned. Ensure there is no food obstructing its movement.
  • Unusual noise during operation: This could be due to the turntable not being correctly seated or food items touching the interior walls. Reposition the turntable or food.
