5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Using the Food Grinder
The Food Grinder is ideal for grinding raw meat, firm fruits, vegetables, and cheeses. Do not grind cooked meat or fibrous vegetables as this may clog the grinder.
- Assemble the Grinder: Place the grinding screw into the grinder housing, then the blade (sharp edge facing out), followed by your chosen grinding plate (fine or coarse). Secure with the retaining ring.
- Prepare Food: Cut food into pieces small enough to fit into the feed tube. Chill meat slightly before grinding for best results.
- Attach to Mixer: Follow the setup instructions in Section 4.1.
- Position Bowl: Place a bowl under the grinder to collect the processed food.
- Operate: Plug in the mixer. Turn the mixer to Speed 4 for grinding. Feed food into the hopper using the food pusher. Do not force food into the grinder.

Using the Sausage Stuffer
To make sausages, replace the grinding plate and blade with the sausage stuffer plate and one of the sausage stuffer tubes. Ensure the stuffer tube is securely attached. Prepare your sausage mixture and feed it into the grinder, allowing it to push through the tube into prepared casings. Use Speed 4 for stuffing.
5.2 Using the Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder
The Slicer/Shredder is perfect for quickly slicing or shredding a variety of fruits, vegetables, and cheeses.
- Assemble the Slicer/Shredder: Insert your desired blade (slicing, coarse shredding, or fine shredding) into the slicer/shredder housing.
- Prepare Food: Cut food into pieces that fit comfortably into the feed tube.
- Attach to Mixer: Follow the setup instructions in Section 4.1.
- Position Bowl: Place a bowl under the attachment to catch the sliced or shredded food.
- Operate: Plug in the mixer. Turn the mixer to Speed 4 for slicing/shredding. Feed food into the feed tube using the food pusher. Apply gentle, even pressure.
