2. Safety Information

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

The Performance Tool W2420 Penlight requires three (3) AAA alkaline batteries. These are typically included with the product.

1. Unscrew the end cap of the penlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
2. Insert three AAA batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
3. Replace the end cap by screwing it clockwise until it is securely fastened.

The penlight is now ready for operation.

6.1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The penlight features a single power button to cycle through its illumination modes:

3. Third Press: Turns the penlight Off.

• Pocket Clip: Attach the penlight to a shirt pocket, belt, or other suitable edge for convenient access and directional lighting.
• Magnetic Back: The integrated magnet allows the penlight to be securely attached to ferrous metal surfaces, such as car hoods, toolboxes, or metal shelving, providing stable, hands-free illumination.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning

To maintain the penlight's performance and appearance:

• Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the rubberized grip or plastic components.
• Ensure the penlight is dry before storing or using.

7.2. Battery Replacement
