Once assembled and connected, your Sun Joe SPX3000-RED is ready for operation. This unit is powered by an 1800W/14.5-Amp motor, delivering up to 2030 PSI of water pressure and 1.76 GPM of water flow.
- Turn on Water Supply: Fully open the water faucet to ensure a steady flow to the pressure washer.
- Purge Air from System: Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun until a steady stream of water emerges, indicating all air has been purged from the pump and hose.
- Power On: Turn the power switch located on the front of the unit to the 'ON' position. The motor will start.
- Begin Cleaning: Point the spray gun at the surface to be cleaned, maintaining a safe distance. Squeeze the trigger to activate the high-pressure spray. The Total Stop System (TSS) will automatically shut off the pump when the trigger is not engaged, saving energy and prolonging pump life.
- Using Detergent: If using detergent, turn the detergent selection dial to choose between Tank 1 or Tank 2. The detergent will be automatically mixed with the water when using the black soap nozzle.
- Changing Nozzles: Release the trigger and engage the safety lock on the spray gun. Pull back the quick-connect collar on the spray wand, remove the current nozzle, and insert a new one until it clicks securely.
