The Mayer Air Fryer MMAF3 is designed for healthy cooking, utilizing rapid air circulation technology to fry, bake, roast, and grill food with significantly less oil. It features intuitive controls for temperature and time, making it simple to achieve crispy results.

Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the air fryer and all accessories from the packaging. Dispose of packaging materials responsibly.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the frying basket and pan thoroughly with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before use.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, horizontal, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm of free space around the appliance for proper ventilation. Do not place it near flammable materials.
  4. Pre-heating (Optional but Recommended): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10 minutes at 200°C to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight smell may be present, which is normal and will dissipate.

Cooking Process

  1. Prepare Food: Place the ingredients into the frying basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
  2. Insert Basket: Slide the frying basket back into the air fryer until it clicks into place.
  3. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature control dial to the desired temperature (e.g., 200°C for crispy results).
  4. Set Timer: Turn the timer dial to the required cooking time. The air fryer will begin heating immediately.
  5. Monitor Cooking: For some recipes, it may be necessary to shake the ingredients halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning. Carefully pull out the basket, shake, and then slide it back in. The air fryer will resume cooking.
  6. Completion: When the timer reaches zero, the air fryer will automatically switch off. Carefully pull out the basket and transfer the cooked food to a plate.

Cooking Tips

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning of your Mayer Air Fryer will ensure its longevity and optimal performance. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

  1. Frying Basket and Pan: These parts are non-stick coated and can be cleaned with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn food residue, soak the basket and pan in hot water for about 10 minutes. They are not dishwasher safe.
  2. Interior: Wipe the inside of the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a non-abrasive liquid cleaner.
  3. Exterior: Clean the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners.
  4. Heating Element: Use a cleaning brush to remove any food residue from the heating element.
  5. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the air fryer in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting
