Product Overview

The iReliev system consists of a compact hand control unit and two wireless pods that attach to self-adhesive electrode pads. The hand control allows for easy selection of therapy modes, intensity levels, and treatment duration. The wireless design provides freedom of movement during therapy.

Setup

1. Charge the Device: Before first use, fully charge the hand control unit and wireless pods using the provided USB/AC adapter. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides 3-5 hours of charge.
2. Attach Electrodes: Snap the wireless pods onto the self-adhesive electrode pads. Ensure a secure connection.
3. Prepare Skin: Clean and dry the skin area where the electrode pads will be applied. This ensures optimal adhesion and conductivity.
4. Apply Pads: Carefully peel the protective film from the electrode pads and apply them to the desired treatment area. Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section for recommended pad placements.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Turn on the hand control unit by pressing the 'ON' button. Turn on each wireless pod by holding down its power button for 2-3 seconds until the blue light illuminates. The pods will automatically pair with the hand control.
2. Select Therapy Mode (TENS/EMS): Use the 'SET' button on the hand control to toggle between TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) and EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) modes.
3. Choose Program: The device comes with 14 preset programs (8 TENS modes for pain relief/arthritis, 6 EMS modes for strength/endurance/recovery). Use the 'CH' button to cycle through the available programs (P1-P14).
4. Adjust Intensity: Once a program is selected, use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the intensity level. Start with a low intensity and gradually increase it until you feel a comfortable, yet effective, sensation. The device offers 25 levels of adjustable intensity.
5. Set Treatment Time: The system has a convenient timer. Use the 'SET' button to adjust the treatment time, up to 60 minutes.
6. Lock Function: To prevent accidental changes during therapy, utilize the lock function by holding down the 'SET' button for a few seconds.
7. Power Off: After your session, hold down the 'OFF' button on the hand control unit to turn it off. Hold down the power button on each wireless pod for 2-3 seconds to turn them off.

Recommended Pad Placements

Proper pad placement is crucial for effective therapy. The iReliev system is versatile and can be used on various body parts. Refer to the diagram below for common placement suggestions:

Maintenance

• Electrode Pad Care: After each use, place the protective film back onto the adhesive side of the electrode pads to prevent them from drying out and to maintain their stickiness. The pads are reusable for approximately 20-30 uses, depending on skin type and care. Replace pads when they lose their adhesive quality.
• Cleaning: Wipe the hand control unit and wireless pods with a soft, damp cloth. Do not submerge the devices in water or use abrasive cleaners.
• Storage: Store the system in its provided carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
