2. Package Contents

3. Setup Guide
3.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of each cordless handset.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the provided AAA rechargeable battery into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Place each handset in its respective charging base (main base or charging cradle) to charge for at least 10 hours before initial use.
3.2 Connecting the Base Unit and Charging Cradle
- Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack on the back of the base unit.
- Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to a telephone wall jack.
- Plug one power adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the base unit.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
- For the charging cradle, plug its power adapter into the POWER jack on the cradle.
- Plug the other end of the charging cradle's power adapter into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
Note: Use only the power adapters provided with this product. Using other adapters may damage the product and void the warranty.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Press PHONE or SPEAKER, then dial the number.
- To Answer a Call: Press PHONE or SPEAKER when the phone rings.
- To End a Call: Press OFF/CANCEL or place the handset back in its charging cradle.
4.2 Digital Answering System
The integrated digital answering system can record up to 22 minutes of messages, announcements, and memos. A voice guide assists with setup.
- Recording an Announcement: Follow the voice prompts on the handset or base unit. Typically, you will press a specific key (e.g., '1' as indicated in the image) to begin recording your outgoing message.
- Playing Messages: Press PLAY/STOP on the base unit or access the answering system menu on the handset.
- Deleting Messages: During message playback, press DELETE on the base unit or use the handset menu.

4.3 Smart Call Blocker
This feature helps to screen and block unwanted calls, including robocalls. The system can block up to 1,000 numbers.
- Blocking a Number: During an incoming call or from the Caller ID log, press the dedicated CALL BLOCK button on the handset.
- Screening Calls: The system can announce callers and allow you to screen them before answering. You can choose to answer, send to voicemail, or block the number.
- Allow List: Add important contacts to your directory to ensure their calls are never blocked or screened.


4.4 Caller ID Announce
When a call comes in, the handset will announce the name of the caller (if available in your Caller ID service and directory), allowing you to decide whether to answer without looking at the screen.
4.5 Handset Features
- Large 2-inch Screen and Big Text: The high-contrast, extra-large display ensures easy readability of caller ID and call history.
- Lighted Keypad: The keypad illuminates for easy dialing in low-light conditions.

- Push-to-Talk: A dedicated button on the side of the handset enables quick, direct communication with other handsets or the base.
- Quiet Mode: Temporarily silences the ringer on all handsets and the base unit for a set period.

4.6 Expandability and Range
The system is expandable up to 12 handsets using AT&T CL80107 or CL80067 accessory models. The unique antenna design and noise-filtering technology provide extended range and clarity.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Care
- Always use the provided rechargeable AAA batteries.
- Charge handsets for at least 10 hours before first use.
- If the handset is not used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
