3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Assembling the Monitor Stand

1. Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
2. Attach the stand base to the stand neck, securing it with the provided screw.
3. Align the assembled stand with the mounting holes on the back of the monitor.
4. Gently push the monitor onto the stand until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely fastened.

3.2 Connecting the Monitor

The BenQ GW2480 offers versatile connectivity options including HDMI, DisplayPort (DP), and VGA ports.

• Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the monitor's power input and then to a power outlet.
• Video Connection:
  • For HDMI: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the monitor's HDMI port and the other end to your computer's HDMI output.
  • For DisplayPort: Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the monitor's DP port and the other end to your computer's DP output.
  • For VGA: Connect one end of the VGA cable to the monitor's VGA port and the other end to your computer's VGA output.
• Audio Connection (Optional): If using external speakers or headphones, connect them to the monitor's audio output jack. The monitor also features built-in speakers.

4. Operating the Monitor

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the bottom right side of the monitor to turn it on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is on.

4.2 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu Navigation

The monitor features a joystick-style button on the bottom for navigating the OSD menu. Press the joystick to open the menu, then move it up/down/left/right to select options and adjust settings. Press again to confirm selections.

• Brightness Intelligence (B.I.) Technology: This feature automatically adjusts screen brightness based on ambient lighting conditions, optimizing display performance and protecting your vision.
• Low Blue Light Technology: Reduces harmful blue light emissions from the screen, which can cause eye fatigue and sleep disruption. Multiple levels of blue light reduction are available in the OSD menu.
• Flicker-Free Performance: Eliminates screen flickering at all brightness levels, providing a comfortable viewing experience.

4.4 Built-In Speakers

The monitor includes built-in speakers for audio output. Volume can be adjusted through the OSD menu or your connected device. For enhanced audio quality, external speakers are recommended.
