Setup and Installation

Installation may require some time and patience due to the individual crystal components. It is recommended to have two people for installation.

Step-by-Step Installation:

1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker that supplies power to the light fixture location and turn it off. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Mounting Plate: Attach the mounting plate to the junction box in your ceiling. Ensure it is securely fastened.
3. Adjust Hanging Chain: The 39.4-inch chain is adjustable. Determine the desired hanging height for your chandelier and adjust the chain length accordingly.
4. Wire Connections: Connect the chandelier's wires to your household wiring. Match live to live (usually black), neutral to neutral (usually white), and ground to ground (usually green or bare copper). Secure connections with wire nuts and electrical tape.
5. Secure Canopy: Carefully push the canopy up to the ceiling, covering the junction box and mounting plate. Secure it with the provided screws.
6. Install Bulbs: Insert 6 G9 bulbs (max 35W each) into the sockets. (Bulbs not included).
7. Attach Crystals: This is the most time-consuming step. Individually attach the 51 crystal balls and 90 crystal strings to the chandelier frame using the provided pins/hooks. Refer to the product images for the intended arrangement.

Operating Instructions

Once installed and wired correctly, the Maxax Modern Crystal Chandelier operates like any standard ceiling light fixture. It is controlled by a wall switch connected to the fixture's electrical circuit.

• Power On/Off: Flip the wall switch to turn the chandelier lights on or off.
• Dimming Functionality: This chandelier is dimmable. If connected to a compatible dimmer switch (not included), you can adjust the light intensity by rotating or sliding the dimmer control. Ensure you use dimmable G9 LED bulbs for this feature to work correctly.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning will help maintain the brilliance and longevity of your crystal chandelier.

• Cleaning Crystals:
  • Turn off the power to the fixture and allow bulbs to cool completely.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with a mild glass cleaner or distilled water.
  • Gently wipe each crystal. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the crystal and metal finish.
  • For thorough cleaning, individual crystals can be carefully removed, washed, rinsed, and dried before reattaching.
• Cleaning Metal Parts: Wipe metal surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off before replacing bulbs. Allow old bulbs to cool. Replace with G9 base bulbs, not exceeding 35W per bulb.
