4. Setup

4.1 Initial Inspection

Upon unpacking, inspect the unit for any signs of physical damage. Ensure all accessories are present. If any damage is found, contact your supplier immediately.

4.2 Power Connection

  1. Verify the input voltage selector switch on the rear panel is set to match your local power supply (110V or 220V).
  2. Connect the provided power cord to the AC inlet on the rear panel and plug it into a grounded power outlet.

4.3 Connecting a Load

Before connecting any load, ensure the power supply output is turned off (OUT indicator is off). Connect your device to the output terminals:

  • Connect the positive (+) terminal of your load to the red (+) output terminal of the power supply.
  • Connect the negative (-) terminal of your load to the black (-) output terminal of the power supply.
  • For safety and noise reduction, connect the ground (GND) terminal to the chassis ground of your setup if required.

4.4 PC Software Control (Optional)

The KA3010P can be controlled via PC software using either a USB or RS232 interface located on the rear of the unit. Drivers and software are typically provided by the manufacturer or can be downloaded from their official website. Refer to the software's specific instructions for installation and usage.
