1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the AUNA V-20 HiFi System. This versatile micro stereo system is designed to provide high-quality audio entertainment through various sources, including CD, DAB+ digital radio, FM radio, USB, Bluetooth, and AUX input. Its compact and flat design makes it suitable for both shelf placement and wall mounting. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device to ensure proper use and to maximize its performance.

2. Safety Instructions

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage, please observe the following safety precautions:

• Do not expose the unit to rain or moisture to prevent fire or electric shock.
• Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
• Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

4. Product Overview

4.1 Front Panel and Display

The front panel features the main controls and an LED display that shows time, radio station information, track details, and current mode.

4.2 Rear Panel and Connections

The rear panel includes connections for power, antenna, and wall mounting points.

4.3 Remote Control

The included remote control provides full functionality for operating the system from a distance.

5. Setup

5.1 Placement

The AUNA V-20 can be placed on a flat surface using its removable stand or mounted on a wall.

• Shelf Placement: Attach the removable stand to the bottom of the unit. Place the unit on a stable, flat surface.
• Wall Mounting: Use appropriate screws and wall plugs (not included) to secure the unit to a wall using the mounting holes on the rear panel. Ensure the wall can support the unit's weight.

5.2 Power Connection

Connect the power cable to the AC IN socket on the rear of the unit and then to a standard AC 230V, 50 Hz wall outlet.

5.3 Antenna Connection

Extend the wire antenna fully for optimal FM and DAB+ radio reception.

5.4 Remote Control Battery Installation

Insert the two included 1.5V AAA batteries into the remote control, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the ON/STAND-BY button on the unit or remote control to turn the system on or off (standby mode).

6.2 Source Selection

Press the SOURCE button on the unit or remote control repeatedly to cycle through available input sources: CD, USB, AUDIO IN (AUX), FM, DAB+, Bluetooth.

6.3 CD Playback

1. Press the CD button or select CD mode.
2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the motorized CD tray.
3. Carefully place a CD into the tray with the label side facing you.
4. Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the tray. The system will automatically begin playing the CD.
5. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, SKIP, and STOP buttons for playback control.

6.4 USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port. Select USB mode. The system will automatically detect and play compatible audio files.

6.5 Radio Operation (DAB+/FM)

1. Select DAB+ or FM mode.
2. Auto Scan: Press the SCAN button to automatically scan and store available stations.
3. Manual Tuning: Use the TUNE +/- buttons to manually adjust the frequency.
4. Presets: To save a station, press and hold the PRESET button, then use TUNE +/- to select a preset number, and press ENTER to confirm. To recall a preset, press PRESET briefly, then use TUNE +/- to select the preset, and press ENTER.
5. RDS (Radio Data System): In FM mode, if available, RDS will display station information. Press the INFO button to cycle through available information (e.g., station name, program type, time).

6.6 Bluetooth and NFC Connectivity

The AUNA V-20 supports wireless audio streaming via Bluetooth and quick pairing via NFC.

1. Bluetooth Pairing:
   • Select Bluetooth mode on the AUNA V-20. The display will show "PAIRING".
   • Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and search for "AUNA V-20".
   • Select "AUNA V-20" from the list to connect. Once paired, the display will show "CONNECTED".
2. NFC Pairing:
   • Ensure NFC is enabled on your compatible smartphone or tablet.
   • Touch your NFC-enabled device to the NFC logo on the AUNA V-20's front panel.
   • Confirm the pairing request on your device.

6.7 Audio Settings

• Equalizer (EQ): Press the EQ button on the remote to cycle through preset equalizer modes.
• X-Bass: Press the X-BASS button on the remote to activate or deactivate the bass boost function.
• Treble/Bass Adjustment: Use the TREBLE and BASS buttons on the remote to fine-tune the audio.

7. Maintenance

To maintain the performance and appearance of your AUNA V-20, follow these guidelines:

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit. For stubborn marks, dampen the cloth slightly with water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• CD Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of scratches.
• Ventilation: Ensure ventilation openings are not blocked to prevent overheating.
• Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place.
