Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your Timex Weekender watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). This means it can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water.
Important: It is not suitable for swimming or bathing. Do not press any buttons underwater unless your watch is indicated as 200-meter water resistant.

This chart provides a visual guide to the water resistance levels of Timex watches, indicating suitable activities for each depth rating.
Strap Care
The adjustable brown leather slip-through strap is durable. To maintain its quality, avoid prolonged exposure to water and harsh chemicals. Clean with a soft, damp cloth if necessary. The slip-through design allows for easy replacement with other compatible straps.
Troubleshooting
Watch Not Keeping Time
- Battery: The watch requires 1 Lithium Metal battery. If the watch stops or runs intermittently, the battery may need replacement.
- Crown Position: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If it's pulled out, the watch will not keep time.
Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero
- Perform the "Calibrating Chronograph Hands" procedure detailed in the Setup section.
INDIGLO Not Working
- Ensure the crown is pressed firmly.
- Check battery level, as low battery can affect backlight performance.
