Safety Information

Important Safety Precautions:

Setup

Before first use, ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet and a sink.

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean Reservoir: Wash the removable reservoir with warm soapy water. It is top-rack dishwasher safe.
  3. Insert Tip: Select the desired flossing tip and firmly insert it into the handle until it clicks into place.
  4. Fill Reservoir: Fill the reservoir with warm water. You may also add a small amount of mouthwash if desired. Place the reservoir back onto the base.
  5. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for effective water flossing:

  1. Prepare: Lean over the sink and place the tip into your mouth.
  2. Turn On: Turn the unit ON using the power button on the base.
  3. Adjust Pressure: Start with the lowest pressure setting (dial on the base) and gradually increase it over time to a comfortable level. The Aquarius offers 10 pressure settings.
  4. Aim Tip: Aim the tip along the gumline at a 90-degree angle.
  5. Floss: Turn the water ON using the switch on the handle. Pause briefly between teeth to allow water to flow from your mouth into the sink. Floss both the inside and outside surfaces of your upper and lower teeth.
  6. Timer/Pacer: The built-in timer will briefly pause at 30 seconds and 1 minute to help you track your flossing time and ensure you clean all quadrants of your mouth.
  7. Finish: When finished, turn the water OFF on the handle, then turn the unit OFF on the base. Empty any remaining water from the reservoir.
