1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the SteamOne S-TRAVEL garment steamer. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

3. Setup

3.1 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the steamer is unplugged and cool.
  2. Remove the water tank from the main unit by pulling it downwards.
  3. Open the rubber stopper on the bottom of the tank.
  4. Fill the tank with up to 260mL of distilled or demineralized water. Do not overfill.
  5. Securely close the rubber stopper.
  6. Reinsert the water tank into the main unit until it clicks into place.

3.2 Attaching Accessories

  • Anti-Lint Brush: Attach the brush accessory to the steamer head if you wish to remove lint or brush fabrics while steaming.
  • Suction Cup Hook: Use the provided hook to hang garments for vertical steaming. Ensure the surface is clean and smooth for proper suction.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On and Heating

  1. After filling the water tank and attaching any desired accessories, plug the steamer into a 220V electrical outlet.
  2. Press the LED ON/OFF button. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the steamer is heating up.
  3. The steamer will be ready to use in approximately 30 seconds when the indicator light changes or stops flashing (refer to specific model light behavior if detailed in product packaging).

4.2 Steaming Garments

  1. Hang the garment on a hanger. For best results, use the provided suction cup hook or a sturdy hanger.
  2. Hold the steamer upright, ensuring the water tank is below the steam head.
  3. Press and hold the steam trigger to release steam. For continuous steam, engage the trigger lock mechanism (if available on your model).
  4. Gently glide the stainless steel soleplate over the fabric, moving from top to bottom. For stubborn wrinkles, hold the steamer closer to the fabric.
  5. The steamer is suitable for all types of fabrics, including delicate materials. Test on an inconspicuous area first if unsure.
  6. The 260mL water tank provides approximately 11 minutes of continuous steaming. Refill as needed.
  7. To turn off the steamer, press the ON/OFF button again. Unplug the device when finished.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 After Each Use

  1. Unplug the steamer and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth.

5.2 Cleaning the Soleplate

  • If the stainless steel soleplate accumulates residue, wipe it with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the surface.

5.3 Descaling (Recommended Periodically)

Even with distilled water, mineral deposits can accumulate over time. Descaling helps maintain optimal performance.

  1. Mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water.
  2. Fill the water tank with this solution.
  3. Plug in the steamer and allow it to heat up.
  4. Steam the solution through the unit until the tank is empty. Do this in a well-ventilated area, away from fabrics.
  5. Refill the tank with plain distilled water and steam again to rinse out any vinegar residue.
  6. Repeat the rinsing process if necessary.

5.4 Storage

  • Store the steamer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • Ensure the water tank is empty before storage.

6. Troubleshooting
