Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your PDP Universal PS5/PS4 Media Remote Control. This remote is designed to simplify media playback and navigation on your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 system, offering convenient control over streaming services and TV functions.

Setup
Battery Installation
The remote requires two AAA batteries (not included).
- Gently slide the battery cover off the back of the remote.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the battery compartment.
- Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Pairing with PlayStation 4/5 System
This operation is performed only once, when you are using the Media Remote for the first time.
- Turn on your PlayStation system (PS4 or PS5).
- Using a connected controller, navigate to: Settings > Accessories > Bluetooth Devices (on PS5) or Settings > Devices > Bluetooth Devices (on PS4) from the system menu.
- Press the PS button on the remote once to activate it.
- Next, press and hold the SHARE button and the PS button simultaneously until the red LED on the remote begins to flash.
- Place the remote close to the PlayStation system and wait for "PDP Media Remote" to appear in the device list.
- Using a DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller (for PS4) or DualSense Wireless Controller (for PS5), select "PDP Media Remote" from the list, and press the "X" button. When prompted, select "Yes".
- The red LED on the remote will illuminate for approximately 3 seconds and then turn off, indicating successful pairing.
- If pairing is unsuccessful, repeat steps three through six.

Operating the Remote
The PDP Universal Media Remote provides intuitive control over your PlayStation system's media functions and connected TV.
Button Functions
- PS Button: Powers on the console, accesses the Quick Menu, or returns to the Home screen.
- SHARE Button: Accesses the Share menu for screenshots and video clips.
- OPTIONS Button: Displays context-sensitive options menus.
- Directional Pad (Up, Down, Left, Right) & ENTER: Navigates menus and selects items.
- Action Buttons (Triangle, Circle, Cross, Square): Perform in-app actions, similar to a game controller.
- L1, L2, R1, R2 Buttons: Provide additional control for certain applications and media functions.
- Media Playback Buttons (Play/Pause, Fast Forward, Rewind, Skip Forward, Skip Back): Controls media playback within applications.
- TV Controls (Power, Input, Volume Up/Down, Mute): Controls basic functions of your connected television.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the remote, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface.
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or the LED indicator does not light up. Refer to the "Battery Installation" section for instructions.
Troubleshooting
