Operating Instructions

Your TECKNET doorbell offers various customization options:

  • Chime Selection:

The receiver features a "Chime Selection" button. Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the 60 available chime tunes until you find your preferred melody.

  • Volume Control:

Locate the "Volume Control" button on the receiver. Press it to adjust the volume level. There are 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0dB (mute) to 120dB.

  • Working Modes:

The receiver supports 3 working modes: Sound Only, Flash Only, and Sound & Flash. Use the dedicated mode button to switch between these options. The "Flash Only" mode is particularly useful for quiet environments or for individuals with hearing impairments.

  • Mute Mode:

For situations requiring silence, such as during baby's nap time, activate the mute mode. This mode typically disables the sound while still providing a visual alert (flash) when the doorbell is pressed.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your doorbell system:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell push button and receivers with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement (Push Button): The push button is designed for a long lifespan (up to 4.5 years). When the push button's LED indicator no longer lights up or the signal becomes weak, it's time to replace the internal battery. Refer to the product packaging or TECKNET support for the specific battery type.
  • Environmental Protection: While the push button is IP65 waterproof, extreme temperatures can affect battery life. The optimal operating temperature range is -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F).
