4. Setup Guide
4.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment on the back of both the main display unit and the remote sensor.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries into the main display unit, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Insert 2 AAA batteries into the remote sensor, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close both battery compartments securely.
4.2 Initial Setup and Pairing
- After installing batteries, the main display unit will automatically search for the remote sensor. The outdoor temperature will be displayed once a connection is established.
- If the connection is not established within 3 minutes, or if you are adding additional sensors, press and hold the 'CHANNEL' button on the main unit for 3 seconds to initiate a manual search.
- Important Notice: Once synchronization is finished, do not press the RESET button on the remote sensor, or the signal will disappear.
4.3 Placement Options
The main display unit offers multiple placement options:
- Tabletop: Use the durable stand on the back to place it on any flat surface.
- Magnetic Surface: Utilize the strong magnet to attach it to metal surfaces like a refrigerator.
- Hanging: Use the hanging hole to mount it on a hook or nail.
For the remote sensor, ensure it is placed in a location that provides accurate outdoor temperature readings, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Its IPX4 rating allows for outdoor placement, but avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (over 122°F) or high humidity (95%RH).

5. Operation
5.1 Reading Temperatures
The main display unit shows both indoor ('IN') and outdoor ('OUT') temperatures. If multiple remote sensors are connected, you can cycle through their readings by pressing the 'CHANNEL' button.

5.2 Switching Temperature Units (°F/°C)
To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), locate the °F/°C button on the back of the main display unit and press it to toggle the display unit.
5.3 Adding Additional Sensors
The ThermoPro 500FT thermometer supports up to 3 outdoor temperature sensors. To purchase additional remote sensors, search for model B0BHQSR2RK. Follow the initial setup and pairing instructions (Section 4.2) for each new sensor.

- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both units when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
