Setup Instructions

Connecting to PC/Console (with USB DAC)

For optimal performance and DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround sound on PC, connect the Console/PC Cable with Inline Controls to the headset. Then, connect the 3.5mm jack of this cable to the USB DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter). Finally, plug the USB connector of the DAC into an available USB port on your PC.

For consoles like PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Nintendo Switch, connect the Console/PC Cable with Inline Controls directly to the controller's 3.5mm jack. The USB DAC is not typically used for console connections unless specified by the console's audio setup.

Microphone Usage

The detachable boom microphone features noise-canceling and a micro-pop filter for clear communication. Position the microphone approximately two finger-widths from your mouth for optimal voice pickup. For mobile use, the inline microphone on the mobile cable provides convenient communication.

Maintenance and Care

To maintain the longevity and appearance of your Logitech G433 headset, follow these guidelines:

  • Cleaning: The fabric surfaces are hydrophobic and stain-resistant. For light cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. Do not immerse the headset in water.
  • Ear Pads: The ear pads are swappable for cleaning or replacement. Hand wash the fabric ear pads with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and allow them to air dry completely before reattaching.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the headset in the included carrying bag to protect it from dust and scratches. Avoid storing in extreme temperatures or high humidity.
  • Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cables to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

No Audio or Low Volume

  • Ensure all cables are securely connected to the headset, USB DAC (if applicable), and your device.
  • Check the volume levels on the inline control box, your PC/console, and within the application you are using.
  • If using the USB DAC on PC, verify that the Logitech G HUB software is installed and the headset is selected as the default audio output device.
  • Test the headset with another device to rule out issues with the original device's audio port.

Microphone Not Working

  • Ensure the detachable boom microphone is fully inserted into the headset.
  • Check if the microphone is muted on the inline control box or within your device's audio settings.
  • Verify that the correct microphone input device is selected in your PC/console's sound settings or communication software (e.g., Discord).
  • If using the PC Splitter, ensure it is correctly connected to the separate microphone and headphone jacks on your computer.

Distorted Audio or Static

  • Ensure all connections are secure. Loose connections can cause static.
  • Try connecting the headset to a different USB port or 3.5mm jack on your device.
  • If on PC, update your audio drivers and Logitech G HUB software to the latest versions.
  • Reduce the volume if the distortion occurs at high levels.
