5. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
  2. Connect Antennas: Screw the two antennas onto the ANT A and ANT B connectors on the rear of the receiver unit. Ensure they are securely tightened and positioned vertically for optimal reception.
  3. Power the Receiver: Connect the provided power adapter to the receiver's power input (220V-50Hz) and plug it into a suitable power outlet. Do not power on the receiver yet.
  4. Connect to Audio System: Use the balanced XLR output or the mixed auxiliary (1/4" Jack) output on the receiver's rear panel to connect to your audio mixer, amplifier, or sound system.
  5. Install Batteries in Transmitters: Open the battery compartment on each bodypack transmitter and insert two AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
  6. Connect Microphones to Transmitters: Plug your chosen headset or lavalier microphone into the microphone input jack on each bodypack transmitter.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: First, turn on your audio mixer/amplifier. Then, press the power switch on the receiver unit to turn it on. Finally, slide the ON/OFF/MUTE switch on each bodypack transmitter to the 'ON' position.
  2. Check Indicators: Observe the RF (Radio Frequency) indicators on the receiver's front panel. They should illuminate, indicating that the receiver is receiving a signal from the transmitters.
  3. Adjust Volume: Speak into the microphones. The AF (Audio Frequency) indicators on the receiver should light up, indicating audio signal presence. Adjust the independent volume knobs for Channel A and Channel B on the receiver to achieve the desired output level.
  4. Using the Mute Function: To temporarily silence a microphone without turning off the transmitter, slide the ON/OFF/MUTE switch on the bodypack transmitter to the 'MUTE' position. Slide it back to 'ON' to resume audio transmission.
  5. Optimal Placement: For headset microphones, position the boom mic approximately 2-3 cm from the corner of your mouth. For lavalier microphones, clip them to your clothing about 15-20 cm below your chin.
  6. Operating Range: The system has an effective operating range of up to 80 meters in open, unobstructed environments. Walls, large metal objects, and other wireless devices may reduce this range.
  7. Power Off: When finished, first slide the transmitter switches to 'OFF', then turn off the receiver, and finally turn off your audio mixer/amplifier.
