1. Important Safety Information
Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and operation. Retain this manual for future reference.
- Ensure all components are securely fastened during assembly to prevent injury or damage.
- Do not attempt to modify the solar lamp post or its components. Unauthorized modifications may void the warranty and pose safety risks.
- Keep the solar panel clean and free from debris to ensure optimal charging performance.
- When using the planter base, ensure it is adequately weighted with a minimum of 40 lbs of rock or sod to maintain stability, especially in windy conditions.
- This product is designed for outdoor use only.

3. Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your solar lamp post.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
- Assemble Post Sections: Connect the various sections of the lamp post according to the included diagrams. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- Attach Lamp Heads: Secure the two lamp heads to the top of the post. Ensure the solar panels on top of each lamp head are facing upwards to maximize sun exposure.
- Install Plant Hanger: Attach the decorative plant hanger to the designated area on the lamp post.
- Prepare Planter Base: If using the planter base, ensure it is properly assembled. For stability, fill the planter with a minimum of 40 lbs of rock or sod.
- Ground Mount Option: Alternatively, use the provided ground mount hardware to secure the lamp post directly into the ground for added stability.
- Initial Charge: Before first use, locate the ON/OFF switch inside each lantern and set it to the 'ON' position. Allow the solar lamp post to charge in direct sunlight for 6-8 hours. This initial charge is crucial for optimal battery performance.

4. Operation
Your solar lamp post is designed for simple, automatic operation.
- ON/OFF Switch: Ensure the switch located inside each lantern is in the 'ON' position. This allows the solar panels to charge the batteries and the lights to operate automatically.
- Automatic Dusk-to-Dawn Sensor: The lamp post features a built-in light sensor. Once fully charged, the lights will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn.
- Charging: The solar panels require 6-8 hours of direct sunlight for a full charge.
- Working Time: A full charge provides 8-10 hours of illumination.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your solar lamp post.
- Cleaning Solar Panels: Periodically wipe the solar panels with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures efficient sunlight absorption and battery charging.
- Battery Care: The lamp post uses NiMH rechargeable batteries. While designed for long life, if you notice a significant decrease in illumination time after prolonged use, the batteries may need replacement. Use only NiMH AA rechargeable batteries of the same voltage and capacity.
- General Cleaning: Clean the lamp post and lantern glass with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Weather Resistance: The lamp post is crafted from cast aluminum with a powder coating for rust and corrosion resistance, and is IP44 waterproof. However, in extreme weather conditions, consider taking precautions to protect the unit.

6. Troubleshooting
If your solar lamp post is not functioning as expected, try these solutions:
- Light Does Not Turn On:
- Ensure the ON/OFF switch inside the lantern is in the 'ON' position.
- Verify the solar panel is receiving direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily. Obstructions like trees or buildings can reduce charging efficiency.
- Check if the batteries are properly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Light is Dim or Short-Lived:
- Clean the solar panel surface to remove any dirt or debris that may be blocking sunlight.
- Ensure the lamp post is placed in an area that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day.
- The batteries may be old and losing capacity. Consider replacing them with new NiMH rechargeable batteries.
- Cold weather can affect battery performance and reduce illumination time.
