Focusing the Beam (Pure Beam Focusing Optic)
The PX1R utilizes a twist focus system to adjust the beam from a wide flood to a narrow spot.
- To achieve a wide Ultra View Flood Beam, twist the head of the flashlight counter-clockwise until it reaches its widest setting. This beam provides a large, evenly lit circle without dark spots.
- To achieve a focused Bulls-Eye Spot Beam, twist the head of the flashlight clockwise until it reaches its narrowest setting. This beam projects light far downrange with a surrounding transition halo for a wider viewing area.

Charging (Flex Charge System)
The Flex Charge System allows for convenient recharging of the Zithion-X battery.
- Charging In-Light: Connect the micro USB charging cable to the flashlight's charging port (located under a protective collar near the tail cap). Connect the other end to a USB power source (AC adapter, DC adapter, or computer USB port). The indicator light will show charging status.
- Charging Out-of-Light: Remove the Zithion-X battery pack from the flashlight. Connect the micro USB charging cable directly to the port on the battery pack. Connect the other end to a USB power source.
