4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Headphone

Before initial use, fully charge the headphone. The built-in battery capacity is 300 mAh.

  1. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the Micro USB Input port on the headphone (refer to Image 3).
  2. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Slide the On/Off switch to the "On" position. An indicator light will flash, and an audible prompt may sound.
  • To Power Off: Slide the On/Off switch to the "Off" position. The indicator light will turn off.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

The RB-300HB uses Bluetooth V4.1 technology for wireless connection.

  1. Ensure the headphone is powered off.
  2. Slide the On/Off switch to the "On" position and hold it for a few seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly (usually blue and red alternately), indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
  4. Search for available devices. You should see "RB-300HB" or "REMAX RB-300HB" in the list.
  5. Select "RB-300HB" to connect. Once paired, the indicator light will typically flash slowly or turn solid blue, and an audible prompt may confirm the connection.
  6. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".

The headphone will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if that device's Bluetooth is active and within range.

4.4 Wired Connection

You can use the headphone with the detachable smart audio cable for a wired connection, even if the battery is depleted.

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the 3.5mm Audio Cable Jack on the headphone (refer to Image 3).
  2. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the 3.5mm audio output port of your device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player).
  3. The headphone will function as a passive wired headphone.

5.1 Music Playback Controls (Bluetooth Mode)

  • Play/Pause: Tap the center of the touch control area once.
  • Volume Up: Swipe up on the touch control area (refer to "Touch Control Volume +" in Image 3).
  • Volume Down: Swipe down on the touch control area (refer to "Touch Control Volume -" in Image 3).
  • Next Track: Swipe right on the touch control area (refer to "Touch Control Next Track" in Image 3).
  • Previous Track: Swipe left on the touch control area (refer to "Touch Control Last Track" in Image 3).

5.2 Call Management (Bluetooth Mode)

  • Answer Call: Tap the center of the touch control area once when a call comes in.
  • End Call: Tap the center of the touch control area once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the center of the touch control area for approximately 2 seconds when a call comes in.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-tap the center of the touch control area when not on a call.

6. Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your headphone.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headphone. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the headphone in the provided carry bag to protect it from dust and scratches. Avoid storing in extreme temperatures or high humidity.
  • Water Resistance: The product is listed as "Waterproof" in specifications. However, avoid prolonged exposure to water or submerging the device. Dry thoroughly if it gets wet.
