2.2 Components

The LUCKY FF-1108-1CLA includes the main display unit, a wireless sonar sensor, a wired transducer with cable, a charging cable, and a storage case.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

The main display unit and wireless sensor contain rechargeable batteries. Use the provided USB cable to charge them. Connect the USB cable to a computer or a compatible USB power adapter (not included). Ensure the devices are fully charged before initial use for optimal battery life.

3.2 Connecting the Wired Transducer

1. Locate the transducer port on the top of the main display unit.
2. Carefully insert the cable connector from the wired transducer into this port. Ensure a secure connection.
3. The wired transducer can be mounted to the bottom side of a boat or attached to a fishing line for deployment.

3.3 Preparing the Wireless Sensor

1. Ensure the wireless sensor is charged.
2. Attach the wireless sensor to your fishing line. It is designed to float on the water surface.
3. Cast the sensor into the desired fishing area. The sensor will automatically activate upon contact with water.

• Battery Indicators: Show the remaining battery life for both the main unit and the wireless sensor.
• Wireless Signal: Indicates the strength of the connection between the display unit and the wireless sensor.

4.3 Mode Selection (Wireless/Wired)

The device automatically detects the connected transducer. If both are connected, you may need to select the desired mode through the menu. Consult the on-screen menu options for switching between wireless and wired sonar modes.

4.4 Adjusting Settings

Use the directional buttons and menu button on the display unit to navigate through settings. Common adjustable settings include:

• Sensitivity: Adjust to filter out noise or detect weaker signals. Higher sensitivity detects more, but may show more clutter.
• Depth Range: Manually set the depth range or use auto-ranging.
