3. Setup and Battery Installation
3.1 Battery Requirements
The Pokémon Trainer Guess: Kanto Edition requires 3 AAA batteries for operation. These batteries are included with the product.
3.2 Installing/Replacing Batteries
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the device.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the cover.

- Think of a Pokémon: Secretly choose any of the 151 Kanto Region Pokémon.
- Answer Questions: The device will ask you a series of "Yes" or "No" questions about your chosen Pokémon. Respond clearly using voice recognition.
- Voice Commands:
- Say "Yes" to confirm.
- Say "No" to deny.
- Say "I don't know" if you are unsure.
- Say "Go back" to re-answer the previous question.
- Say "Repeat" or "Say it again" to hear the question once more.
- Guessing: Based on your answers, the device will attempt to guess your Pokémon.
- Collecting Pokémon: If the device guesses correctly, that Pokémon is added to your electronic collection. You can track your collection using the included Trainer Field Guide.
