The intelligent motion sensor can detect movement up to 16.4 feet (5 meters).

Maintenance

To ensure your InnoGear Solar Gutter Lights continue to function optimally, follow these simple maintenance tips:

  • Clean the Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
  • Check for Obstructions: Ensure no trees, buildings, or other objects are blocking direct sunlight from reaching the solar panel, especially during peak charging hours.
  • Inspect Mounting: Periodically check that the light is securely mounted and that all screws are tight.
  • Battery Longevity: The integrated Lithium Ion battery is designed for long-term use. If the light's performance significantly degrades over time, it may indicate the battery is reaching the end of its lifespan.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Light does not turn on at night.Insufficient solar charge.Ensure the solar panel is in direct sunlight for 6-8 hours daily. Clean the solar panel.
Light duration is short.Partial charge or cloudy weather.Relocate the light to an area with more direct sunlight. Allow several sunny days for a full charge.
Motion sensor not working.Sensor obstructed or incorrect mode.Ensure the sensor is clear of obstructions. Cycle through modes to confirm it's in a motion-sensing mode (Mode 3 or 4).
Light flickers or is dim.Low battery charge.Allow the light to charge fully in direct sunlight for 1-2 days.
