Operating Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the removable cooking pot. Do not overfill; ensure there is adequate space for the lid to close without touching the food.
  2. Secure Lid: Place the hinged cover onto the cooking pot. Engage the swing-up handle to lock the lid securely in place. The handle should be in the upright position to lock the lid, ensuring a spill-proof seal for transport.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 110-volt electrical outlet.
  4. Select Setting: Turn the control knob to your desired setting:
    • WARM: To keep cooked food at serving temperature.
    • LOW: For longer cooking times, typically 6-8 hours.
    • HIGH: For shorter cooking times, typically 3-4 hours.
  5. Cooking: Allow the food to cook for the recommended time based on your recipe and selected setting. The large glass window allows you to monitor cooking progress without opening the lid.
  6. Serving: Once cooking is complete, turn the control knob to OFF. Carefully unlock the lid by disengaging the swing-up handle. Use the detachable utensil holder as a spoon rest during serving.
  7. Labeling: Use the included dry erase marker to write the contents of the slow cooker on the dry erase board for easy identification, especially at gatherings.
