Thank you for purchasing the KWANWA Alarm Clock. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance of your new alarm clock. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper functionality and to extend the product's lifespan.

This KWANWA Alarm Clock features a large 1.8" LED display, adjustable brightness, battery operation, 12/24-hour format, and a snooze function. It is designed for clear visibility day and night, making it suitable for various users, including heavy sleepers and those with impaired vision.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the alarm clock.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two (2) D size alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Power On

Once batteries are installed, the clock display will light up, and the time will typically default to 12:00 AM. You can now proceed to set the time and alarm.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Time

  1. Press and hold the "TIME SET" button for 2 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
  2. Press the "HOUR" button to adjust the hour. Press and hold for faster adjustment.
  3. Press the "MINUTE" button to adjust the minute. Press and hold for faster adjustment.
  4. To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, press the "12/24HR" button while in time setting mode.
  5. Press "TIME SET" again to confirm and exit time setting mode, or wait 10 seconds for it to exit automatically.

2. Setting the Alarm

  1. Press and hold the "ALARM SET" button for 2 seconds. The alarm hour digits will flash.
  2. Press the "HOUR" button to adjust the alarm hour.
  3. Press the "MINUTE" button to adjust the alarm minute.
  4. Press "ALARM SET" again to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
  5. To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the "ALARM ON/OFF" button. An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.

3. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the large "SNOOZE" button located on the top of the clock. The alarm will pause for 7 minutes and then sound again. This can be repeated up to 3 times.

4. Adjusting Display Brightness

The KWANWA Alarm Clock offers three levels of display brightness: High, Middle, and Low. To adjust the brightness:

  1. Press and hold the "TIME SET" button (or a dedicated brightness button if available, refer to physical buttons).
  2. Each press will cycle through the brightness levels.
  3. The clock also features an automatic night mode, which dims the display between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM to conserve battery and reduce light disturbance.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the clock's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the clock stops functioning. Always use new D size alkaline batteries.
  • Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
  • Environment: Avoid exposing the clock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.

Troubleshooting
