Setup

  1. Speaker Placement: Position the active speaker (the one with controls and inputs on the back) and the passive speaker on a stable, flat surface. For optimal stereo imaging, place them equidistant from your listening position and at ear level. Ensure there is adequate space behind the speakers, especially for the rear-firing bass port.
  2. Connect Speakers: Connect the active speaker to the passive speaker using the provided speaker connection cable. Ensure the correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) when connecting the bare wire ends to the spring clips on both speakers.
  3. Connect Audio Source:
    • RCA Line-In: Use the provided RCA to RCA cable or 3.5mm to RCA cable to connect your audio source (e.g., TV, CD player, computer) to either "Line In A" or "Line In B" ports on the rear panel of the active speaker.
    • Bluetooth: For wireless connection, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop). The speakers will automatically enter pairing mode when powered on and no wired input is selected. Select "Edifier R1010BT" from your device's Bluetooth list to pair. The speakers support simultaneous connection to two Bluetooth devices.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the integrated power cable from the active speaker into a suitable wall outlet.
  5. Power On: Flip the power switch on the rear panel of the active speaker to the "On" position.

  • Dust: Regularly dust the speaker grilles and drivers to prevent accumulation, which can affect sound quality.
  • Environment: Keep the speakers away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture. Ensure proper ventilation around the speakers.
