TechCare Plus 24 Modes TENS Unit Muscle Stimulator User Manual

Brand: TechCare Massager

Model: BD2125

1. Introduction

The TechCare Plus 24 Modes TENS Unit is a versatile device combining Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and Powered Muscle Stimulator (PMS) technologies. This drug-free method of pain relief has been utilized by physical therapists and medical professionals for over 40 years.

The device operates by delivering low-voltage electrical pulses to the skin, which stimulate nerve fibers. This stimulation effectively blocks pain signals from reaching the brain and encourages the body's natural production of endorphins, which are natural pain relievers.

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and effective use of your TechCare Plus TENS Unit, including setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning and Storage

  • Device: Wipe the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
  • Electrode Pads: After each use, place the pads back on the provided pad and wire holder or the plastic film they came with to maintain their adhesive quality. If pads lose stickiness, gently wipe the adhesive side with a damp cloth and let air dry. Replace pads when they no longer adhere well.
  • Accessories: Clean the reflexology shoes and massage belt with a damp cloth as needed.
  • Storage: Store the device and all accessories in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep out of reach of children.

7. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your TechCare Plus TENS Unit, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • No Power/Device Not Turning On: Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to the charger and allow sufficient time for charging.
  • No Sensation/Weak Sensation:
    • Check that electrode pads are firmly attached to the skin and not dried out.
    • Verify that electrode cables are securely plugged into both the pads/accessories and the device's output ports.
    • Increase the intensity level gradually using the '+' button.
    • Ensure the correct channel (A or B) is selected for intensity adjustment.
  • Pads Not Sticking: Clean the pads as described in the Maintenance section. If they are old or heavily used, they may need replacement.
  • Uneven Sensation Between Channels: Ensure both channels have their intensity adjusted appropriately. Check that all connections are secure for both channels.

If the issue persists after attempting these steps, please contact TechCare Massager customer support for further assistance.
