  2. Carefully position the sink into the countertop opening from below.
  3. Secure the sink using the provided mounting clips and hardware. Tighten evenly to ensure a snug fit and proper seal.

3. Installing the Drain System

  1. Assemble the 3 1/2 inch InFino® basket valves into the sink drain openings according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure all seals are correctly seated.
  2. Connect the drain and overflow set with the space-saving pipe to the InFino® basket valves. Follow the diagrams provided with the drain kit for correct assembly.
  3. Connect the assembled drain system to your household plumbing. Ensure all connections are hand-tightened, then gently tighten with a wrench, being careful not to overtighten.

Your BLANCO ANDANO sink is designed for daily kitchen use. The InFino drain system allows for easy opening and closing of the drain and simple removal of the basket for cleaning.

  • Water Flow: Use standard kitchen faucets with appropriate water pressure.
  • Drainage: The InFino basket valve can be opened or closed by pressing or lifting the central element.
  • Overflow: The integrated overflow system prevents water from spilling over the sink edge if the drain is closed and the sink is overfilled.

Care and Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your BLANCO stainless steel sink.

Daily Cleaning

  • After each use, rinse the sink thoroughly with clean water to remove food particles and residue.
  • Wipe the sink dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots and mineral buildup, especially in hard water areas.
  • For general cleaning, use a mild dish soap and a soft sponge or cloth.

Deep Cleaning and Stain Removal

  • For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner. Always rub in the direction of the grain.
  • Avoid using steel wool, abrasive pads, or harsh chemical cleaners (e.g., bleach, ammonia-based products) as these can damage the stainless steel finish.
  • Remove rust spots immediately using a stainless steel rust remover. Rust is often caused by external factors (e.g., metal utensils left in the sink) and not by the sink material itself.

InFino Drain System Maintenance

  • Regularly remove the InFino basket valve and clean it to prevent food buildup and odors.
  • The smooth design of the InFino system makes it easy to wipe clean.
