3. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Entour Snow machine:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. Contact your dealer immediately if any damage is found.
- Placement: Position the snow machine on a stable, level surface or mount it securely using the built-in hanging bracket. Ensure adequate clearance around the output nozzle for snow dispersion.
- Fluid Installation:
- Locate the 5.6-liter external fluid tank.
- Fill the tank with ADJ-approved snow fluid. Using non-approved fluids may damage the machine and void the warranty.
- Securely attach the fluid hose from the machine to the fluid tank cap, ensuring a tight seal.
- Power Connection: Connect the locking PowerCON input cable to the machine and then to a suitable power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position before connecting.
- DMX Connection (Optional): If using DMX control, connect your DMX controller to the machine's 3-pin or 5-pin XLR DMX input. Connect additional DMX devices via the DMX output.
- Remote Control Connection (Optional): If using an optional wired remote, connect it to the 1/4-inch jack socket.

4. Operating Instructions
Once the machine is set up, follow these steps for operation:
- Power On: Flip the main power switch to the 'ON' position. The LCD function display will illuminate.
- Warm-up: The Entour Snow machine requires no warm-up time. It is ready for immediate operation.
- Manual Control: Use the controls on the machine's display or the optional wired remote to manually activate snow output.
- Variable Fan Output: Adjust the fan speed to 50% or 100% to control the intensity and projection distance of the snow.
- Timer Mode: Utilize the built-in remote timer for automated snow bursts. Configure the duration of snow output and the interval between bursts as needed.
- DMX Control: If connected to a DMX controller, refer to the DMX channel chart (typically found in a separate DMX manual or product sheet) to control the machine's functions, including output intensity and fan speed. The machine supports DMX Channel Modes 1, 3, and 5.
- Power Off: When finished, turn the main power switch to the 'OFF' position and disconnect the power cable.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Entour Snow machine:
- Fluid Management: Always use high-quality, ADJ-approved snow fluid. Using inferior or incorrect fluids can lead to clogs and damage.
- Cleaning the Fluid System: After every 40 hours of continuous operation, or if the machine will be stored for an extended period, run a cleaning solution through the system. This involves emptying the snow fluid, filling the tank with distilled water, and running the machine for 5-10 minutes to flush out any residue.
- Exterior Cleaning: Clean the exterior casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Nozzle Inspection: Periodically inspect the output nozzle for any blockages. Clear any obstructions carefully.
- Storage: Store the machine in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the fluid system is cleaned before long-term storage.
