4. Initial Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the turntable from its packaging.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a stable, level surface.
3. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the turntable and then plug it into a wall outlet.
4. Dust Cover: Open the dust cover (if applicable) or the suitcase lid.
5. Stylus Protection: Remove the stylus protective cap from the needle before use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Playing Vinyl Records

1. Open the turntable lid.
2. Place a vinyl record on the platter.
3. Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch. Use the included 45 RPM adapter for records with a large center hole.
4. Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever.
5. Move the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
6. Lower the tonearm slowly onto the record using the cueing lever. The record will begin to play.
7. Adjust the volume using the volume knob.
8. At the end of the record, the auto-stop function will automatically stop the platter rotation. Lift the tonearm and return it to its rest.

5.2 Bluetooth Connectivity

1. Turn on the turntable.
2. Switch the function mode to Bluetooth. The Bluetooth indicator light will blink, indicating it's in pairing mode.
3. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for "PRIXTON VC400" (or similar name).
4. Select "PRIXTON VC400" to pair. Once connected, the indicator light will stop blinking and remain solid.
5. You can now stream audio from your device to the turntable's speakers.

5.3 USB/MicroSD Playback and Digitization

1. Playback: Insert a USB drive or MicroSD card into the respective slot. The unit will automatically switch to USB/MicroSD mode and begin playing compatible audio files (e.g., MP3, WAV).
2. Digitization (Vinyl to WAV):
   • Ensure a USB drive or MicroSD card is inserted.
   • Start playing a vinyl record.
   • Refer to the specific recording button/function on your unit (details may vary, typically a dedicated 'REC' button). Press it to start recording.
   • Press it again to stop recording. The recorded audio will be saved as a WAV file on your USB drive or MicroSD card.

5.4 AUX Input

• Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, CD player) to the AUX IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
• Switch the function mode to AUX.
• Audio from the connected device will play through the turntable's speakers.

5.5 RCA Output

• To connect the turntable to external powered speakers or an amplifier, use an RCA cable (not included) to connect the RCA OUT ports on the turntable to the audio input of your external system.
• Ensure the volume on the external system is adjusted appropriately.

5.6 Headphone Jack

• Plug 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack for private listening. The internal speakers will be muted when headphones are connected.
