2. Important Safety Warnings

WARNING: The magnets in this device are extremely powerful. Improper handling can cause severe finger injuries or damage to the product or glass. Always exercise extreme caution.

  • Glass Thickness: Ensure you have selected the correct model for your window glass thickness. This model is for 15-26mm glass. Using a cleaner with magnets too strong for thin glass can make it difficult to move, while magnets too weak for thick glass will not adhere properly.
  • Finger Safety: Keep fingers clear when bringing the two magnetic halves together or separating them. The magnetic force can cause them to snap together suddenly. Use the plastic separator provided when storing the device.
  • Safety Rope: Always attach the included 2.5m safety rope to your wrist or a secure anchor point when cleaning the exterior side of windows to prevent the outer unit from falling.
  • Initial Placement: When placing the cleaner on the window, apply the outside part to the glass first. Then, place the inside half on the interior side of the glass, maintaining a distance of at least 8 inches from the outside part. Slowly slide them together along the glass until they connect. Do not attach the two parts directly facing each other on the glass without this separation.

4. Setup

4.1. Determine Window Glass Thickness

Before using, it is crucial to determine the thickness of your window glass to ensure compatibility and effective cleaning. This model is suitable for 15-26mm glass.

  1. Measure the total length of your window frame.
  2. Measure the inner length of the window frame.
  3. Measure the outer length of the window frame.
  4. Calculate the glass thickness using the formula: Window Glass Thickness = Total Frame Length - Inner Frame Length - Outer Frame Length.

4.2. Prepare the Cleaner

  1. Separate the Halves: Rotate the two halves of the cleaner 90 degrees in opposite directions to easily separate them.
  2. Soak Sponges: Submerge the cleaning sponges in water until fully saturated.
  3. Apply Detergent: Apply your preferred window cleaning detergent evenly to both cleaning sponges.
  4. Attach Safety Rope: Securely attach the safety rope to your wrist or a fixed object to prevent accidental drops of the outer unit.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for effective window cleaning:

  1. Place the Cleaner: Following the safety instructions in Section 2, carefully place the outer half of the cleaner on the exterior side of the window. Then, place the inner half on the interior side, allowing the magnets to connect through the glass.
  2. Initial Wipe (Optional): If you are using a spray detergent directly on the window, you may skip this step. Otherwise, begin by wiping the soap suds in an arc-shaped route from the bottom to the top, with the pointed end of the cleaner facing upwards.
  3. Remove Water Stains: Wipe and remove water stains in an arc-shaped route from the top to the bottom, with the pointed end of the cleaner facing downwards.
  4. Final Wipe: Wipe around the edges of the window, moving in the direction of the pointed end of the cleaner to ensure thorough cleaning.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Replacing Accessories

The cleaning sponges and rubber squeegee strips are detachable and can be replaced when worn out. To replace them, simply rotate the plastic fastener 90 degrees. Ensure the new squeegee is inserted correctly into its groove.

6.2. Cleaning and Storage

After each use, rinse the sponges and squeegee strips thoroughly with clean water. Allow them to air dry completely before storing. Always use the plastic separator between the two magnetic halves when storing to prevent accidental snapping and potential damage or injury.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Cleaner does not stick or falls off: The glass may be too thick for this model (15-26mm). Verify your window glass thickness using the method described in Section 4.1.
  • Cleaner is difficult to move: The magnets may be too strong for your glass thickness, indicating your glass is thinner than 15mm. Verify your window glass thickness.
  • Leaves streaks on the window: This can be caused by too much detergent, insufficient rinsing of the sponges, or improper wiping technique. Try reducing the amount of detergent, ensuring sponges are clean, and following the recommended wiping motions in Section 5.
  • Accidental snapping of magnets: Always handle with care and use the plastic separator for storage. Refer to Section 2 for detailed safety warnings.
