6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your range hood.

6.1 Grease Filter Cleaning

The two one-piece dishwasher-safe open mesh grease filters should be cleaned regularly to maintain optimum grease capture. Simply remove the filters and place them in your dishwasher for easy cleaning.

6.2 General Cleaning

Clean the exterior surfaces of the range hood with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your range hood, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Fan not operating: Check if the power supply is connected and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the fan switch is in the ON position.
  • Lights not working: Verify the light switch is ON. Check if the LED module needs replacement (refer to warranty for details).
  • Poor suction: Ensure grease filters are clean and not clogged. Check for obstructions in the ductwork. For non-ducted models, ensure the charcoal filter (sold separately) is installed and not saturated.
  • Excessive noise: Check for loose parts or obstructions in the fan. Ensure the hood is securely mounted.
