Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your Vansky TV Antenna. The antenna is designed for outdoor use and can be installed on a wall, roof, balcony, or in an attic.
1. Antenna Assembly
Assemble the antenna elements according to the diagrams provided in the quick start guide. Ensure all connections are secure.

Figure 2: Assembled antenna and included accessories.
2. Mounting the Antenna
Choose a suitable outdoor location for mounting the antenna, preferably one with a clear line of sight to broadcast towers. Use the included mounting pole and hardware to securely attach the antenna. Ensure the mounting is stable and can withstand various weather conditions.

3. Connecting to Your Television
Connect the 32.8ft coaxial cable from the antenna to the "ANT IN" or "CABLE IN" port on the power supply adapter. Then, connect another coaxial cable (not included) from the power supply adapter's "TV1" or "TV2" output to your television's antenna input.
Important Note:
- If your TV does not have a built-in HDTV tuner, you will need a separate digital converter box. Connect the antenna to the converter box, and then the converter box to your TV.
- The Vansky antenna supports connecting to two televisions simultaneously without requiring an additional splitter.

4. Powering On and Channel Scan
Plug the power supply adapter into a standard electrical outlet. Turn on your TV and select the correct input source (usually "Antenna" or "Air"). Navigate to your TV's menu and perform an "Auto Program" or "Channel Scan" to find available channels. This process may take several minutes.
Operating Instructions
Remote Control Operation
The Vansky antenna features a built-in 360-degree motor rotor, allowing you to adjust the antenna's direction for optimal signal reception using the wireless remote control.
- Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on the power supply box.
- Press and hold either of the two rotation buttons on the remote to rotate the antenna. The antenna will rotate in one direction.
- To change rotation direction, release the button, then press and hold it again. The antenna will continue rotating in the same direction until it completes a 360-degree cycle, then it will reverse direction. This design prevents cable tangling.
- Observe the LED indicators on the power supply box:
- Red Light: Indicates the power is on.
- Green Light: Indicates the antenna is currently rotating.

After rotating the antenna, perform another channel scan on your TV to update the channel list and optimize reception for the new direction.

Maintenance
The Vansky TV Antenna is designed to be weather-resistant and durable. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, consider the following maintenance tips:
- Periodic Inspection: Periodically check the antenna and its mounting hardware for any signs of wear, corrosion, or loosening, especially after severe weather conditions.
- Cleaning: If necessary, gently clean the antenna elements with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, or debris that may accumulate over time. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Cable Integrity: Ensure the coaxial cable remains securely connected and free from kinks, cuts, or damage. Damaged cables can lead to signal loss.
- Grounding: Verify that the antenna's grounding is properly maintained as per local electrical codes to protect against lightning strikes.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Vansky TV Antenna, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
No Signal or Poor Picture Quality
- Check Connections: Ensure all coaxial cables are securely connected to the antenna, power supply box, and TV/converter box.
- Power Supply: Verify the power supply adapter is plugged in and the red LED light on the power supply box is illuminated.
- Rescan Channels: Perform a new channel scan on your TV. Signal availability can change due to weather or new broadcasts.
- Antenna Direction: Use the remote control to rotate the antenna and try different directions. Perform a channel scan after each significant adjustment to find the optimal signal.
- Obstructions: Ensure there are no new obstructions (e.g., trees, buildings) blocking the line of sight between your antenna and broadcast towers.
- TV Tuner: Confirm your TV has a built-in HDTV tuner or that you are using a digital converter box if needed.
Remote Control Not Working
- Line of Sight: Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote control and the infrared receiver on the power supply box.
- Batteries: Check and replace the batteries in the remote control if necessary.
Antenna Not Rotating
- Power: Confirm the power supply is connected and the red LED is on.
- Green Light: If the green light is not illuminating when pressing the remote button, refer to the "Remote Control Not Working" section.
- Obstruction: Check for any physical obstructions preventing the antenna from rotating freely.
