This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your CACAZI Wireless Doorbell, Model V018G-1. This battery-free kinetic push button transmitter and plug-in chime system offers convenience and reliability for your home or office.

The CACAZI Wireless Doorbell system consists of two main components: a kinetic energy powered transmitter and a plug-in receiver. The transmitter is designed to be battery-free, converting the mechanical energy of a button press into electrical energy to send a signal. The receiver plugs into a standard wall outlet and produces the chime sound.

Setup and Installation

1. Receiver Installation

1. Select a suitable indoor electrical outlet within 120 meters (390 feet) of the desired transmitter location. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.
2. Plug the doorbell receiver directly into the chosen electrical outlet. The receiver will power on automatically.

2. Transmitter Installation

The transmitter can be installed using either the provided double-sided adhesive tape or screws (not included).

Method A: Using Double-sided Adhesive Tape

1. Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is free of dust, dirt, and moisture.
2. Peel off one side of the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape.
3. Attach the tape firmly to the back of the doorbell transmitter.
4. Peel off the remaining protective film from the tape.
5. Press the transmitter firmly onto the cleaned surface at your desired location (e.g., beside your front door). Hold for at least 30 seconds to ensure strong adhesion.

Method B: Using Screws (Not Included)

1. Identify the mounting holes on the back of the transmitter.
2. Mark the desired drilling points on the wall.
3. Drill pilot holes if necessary, and insert wall anchors if mounting into drywall.
4. Secure the transmitter to the wall using appropriate screws.

Note: The transmitter is IP44 waterproof, making it suitable for outdoor installation. Ensure it is placed in a location where it is not constantly submerged in water.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Operation

• Once the receiver is plugged in and the transmitter is installed, the system is ready for use.
• Press the push button on the transmitter. The kinetic energy generated will send a wireless signal to the receiver.
• The receiver will chime, and its indicator light will flash simultaneously.

2. Changing Ringtones

The doorbell offers 38 different musical tones. To change the ringtone:

1. Locate the ringtone selection button on the side or front of the receiver (refer to product diagrams if available).
2. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the available 38 ringtones.
3. Stop pressing when you hear your desired ringtone. The selected tone will be saved automatically.

3. Adjusting Volume

The doorbell chime has 3 adjustable volume levels.

1. Locate the volume control button on the receiver.
2. Press the button to cycle through the volume levels (Low, Medium, High).
3. Select the desired volume level.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of both the transmitter and receiver. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Environmental Conditions: While the transmitter is IP44 waterproof, prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures) may affect its lifespan.
• Receiver Placement: Ensure the receiver is plugged into a well-ventilated area and not covered, to prevent overheating.
