Model: B071PF8SND

Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your Adventuridge Solar Heated Camp Shower. Please read it thoroughly before initial use and retain it for future reference.

The Adventuridge Solar Heated Camp Shower is designed to warm water using solar energy, providing a convenient showering solution for outdoor activities such as camping or festivals. It features a flexible hose and shower head, is easy to mount, and folds compactly for storage. The shower has a volume capacity of 6.5 gallons (25 liters).

Setup Instructions

Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present: the shower bag, flexible hose, and shower head.

Filling the Shower Bag

  1. Ensure the shower head valve is closed.
  2. Open the filling cap on the top of the shower bag.
  3. Fill the bag with water. The maximum volume is 6.5 gallons (25 liters). Do not overfill.
  4. Securely close the filling cap to prevent leaks.

Attaching the Hose and Shower Head

  1. Connect the flexible hose to the outlet at the bottom of the shower bag. Ensure a tight connection.
  2. Attach the shower head to the other end of the flexible hose.

Initial Solar Heating

For optimal heating, place the filled shower bag on a flat surface in direct sunlight with the black side facing up. The black material absorbs solar energy to warm the water. Heating time will vary depending on sunlight intensity and ambient temperature.

Operating Instructions

Mounting the Shower

Once the water has reached the desired temperature, hang the shower bag from a sturdy branch or hook using the reinforced handle. Ensure the hanging point can support the weight of a full 6.5-gallon bag (approximately 54 pounds or 25 kg).

Using the Shower

  1. Position yourself under the shower head.
  2. Open the valve on the shower head to start the water flow.
  3. Adjust the water flow as needed.
  4. Close the valve when finished to conserve water.

Temperature Check

Always test the water temperature before showering to prevent scalding. The water can become very hot in direct sunlight.

Maintenance

Cleaning

After each use, empty any remaining water from the bag. Rinse the inside of the bag and the hose with clean water.

Drying

Allow the shower bag and hose to air dry completely before storing to prevent mold and mildew growth. Hang the bag upside down or open the cap to facilitate drying.

Storage

Store the clean, dry shower in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Fold it compactly to save space.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Water is not heating.

Solution: Ensure the black side of the shower bag is facing direct sunlight. Allow sufficient time for heating (several hours may be required depending on conditions).

Problem: Water flow is weak.

Solution: Check for kinks in the hose. Ensure the shower bag is hung high enough to provide adequate water pressure. Clean the shower head if it appears clogged.

Problem: Leaks from connections.

Solution: Tighten all connections (hose to bag, shower head to hose). Inspect seals for damage.
