Setup

1. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all components (carafe, lid, pump mechanism) with warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
2. Pre-heating for Hot Beverages: To maximize heat retention, fill the carafe with hot water (not boiling) and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Empty the hot water before adding your desired hot beverage.
3. Pre-cooling for Cold Beverages: To maximize cold retention, fill the carafe with cold water or ice and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Empty the cold water/ice before adding your desired cold beverage.

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Carafe:
   • Press the side latch button to open the lid.
   • Carefully remove the internal pump mechanism.
   • Pour your prepared beverage into the carafe. Do not overfill; leave approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) of space from the top.
   • Reinsert the pump mechanism and securely close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place.
2. Dispensing Beverages:
   • Ensure the lid is securely closed.
   • Locate the 'CLOSE' and 'OPEN' indicators on the top of the lid. Rotate the switch to the 'OPEN' position.
   • Place a cup directly under the spout.
   • Press down firmly on the pump button to dispense the beverage. Release to stop the flow.
3. Locking the Dispenser:
   • After dispensing, rotate the switch on the top of the lid to the 'CLOSE' position to prevent accidental spills or dispensing.

Maintenance & Cleaning
