3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Speaker
Prior to initial use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not supplied) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during the charging process and extinguish upon full charge.

3.2 Powering On/Off
To power on the speaker, press and hold the Power button located on the top panel until an audible tone is heard. To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the speaker shuts down.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (the Bluetooth indicator light will flash).
- On your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "LifeJacket XL" from the list of detected devices.
- Upon successful pairing, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will become solid, and a confirmation tone will sound.
4.2 Basic Controls
- Volume Up (+): Press to increase audio volume.
- Volume Down (-): Press to decrease audio volume.
- Play/Pause: Press the Power button once to toggle playback.
- Track Skip: Double-press Volume Up (+) for the next track; double-press Volume Down (-) for the previous track.
- Voice Assistant: Press the dedicated Voice Assistant button (often marked with a microphone icon) to activate Siri or Google Assistant on your connected device.
4.3 Water and Shock Resistance
The LifeJacket XL carries an IP67 rating, signifying its waterproof, shockproof, and snowproof capabilities. It is designed to withstand submersion in water up to 1 meter for a duration of 30 minutes. Always ensure the protective port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water or challenging environmental conditions.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the speaker, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the speaker's finish or internal components. If the speaker has been exposed to saltwater, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and dry completely before charging.
5.2 Storage
Store the speaker in a cool, dry location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the protective port cover is closed to prevent the ingress of dust and debris.
