The Digitek DSG 003 is a versatile single-axis foldable smartphone gimbal designed for stable video recording and photography. It features an integrated extendable telescopic rod, a detachable remote control, and a built-in fill light.

Setup

1. Charging the Gimbal and Remote

Before first use, fully charge the gimbal and the detachable remote control. Use the provided USB charging cable.

• Connect the charging cable to the Type-C port on the gimbal and the remote control.
• Connect the other end to a USB power adapter (not included).
• The indicator light will show charging status.
• Charging time for the fill light is approximately 150 minutes.

Note: The gimbal's battery capacity is 500mAh Li-Polymer, offering up to 70 minutes of working time at maximum brightness and up to 490 minutes at minimum brightness for the fill light.

2. Mounting Your Smartphone

Carefully extend the smartphone clamp and insert your phone. Ensure the phone is balanced in the clamp for optimal performance.

• Gently pull the top part of the phone clamp upwards.
• Place your smartphone horizontally into the clamp, ensuring it is centered.
• Release the clamp to secure the phone.
• The gimbal is compatible with both iPhone and Android smartphones. An action camera can also be used with an excluded action camera clamp.

3. Pairing the Remote Control

The detachable remote control connects via Bluetooth to your smartphone.

1. Press and hold Button 3 (Shutter Button) on the remote control to power it ON. The indicator light will flash.
2. On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
3. Select "DSG 003" or a similar name to pair.
4. Once paired, the indicator light on the remote will stop flashing and remain solid.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the power button on the gimbal until the indicator light illuminates.
• Power Off: Press and hold the power button again until the indicator light turns off.

2. Gimbal Modes and Controls

Utilize the remote control buttons for various functions:

• Button 1 (Left Key):
  • Single press: Switch between Landscape and Portrait modes.
  • Double press: Start Clockwise Inception shooting. Press Button 2 (Two) times to exit.
• Button 2 (Right Key):
  • Single press: Switch between FPV Mode and Lock Mode.
  • Double press: Start Anticlockwise Inception shooting. Press Button 2 (Two) times to exit.
• Button 3 (Shutter Button):
  • Press and hold: Power ON/OFF the remote control.
  • Single press: Capture photo or start/stop video recording (when connected to smartphone camera app).

3. Using the Extendable Telescopic Rod

The integrated rod allows for extended reach and versatile shooting angles.

• Gently pull the top section of the gimbal upwards to extend the telescopic rod.
• Extend it to your desired length, up to 396 mm.
• Push the rod back down to retract it for compact storage.

4. Using the Built-in Fill Light

The fill light provides additional illumination for your shots.

• Press the dedicated button on the fill light to cycle through 3 adjustable modes and 9 brightness levels.
• Color temperatures include Warm (2700K), Cold (4100K), and Mix (6000K).

5. Using the Tripod Base

For stable, stationary shots, deploy the integrated tripod base.

• Fold out the three legs at the bottom of the gimbal handle.
• Place the gimbal on a flat, stable surface.
• Ensure the legs are fully extended and locked into position for maximum stability.

Storage
