4.2 Preparing the Bowl
- The stainless steel bowl must be thoroughly frozen before use. Place the empty bowl in your freezer for a minimum of 12-24 hours, or until it is completely frozen. The colder the bowl, the better the ice cream consistency.
- Ensure your freezer temperature is set to -18°C (0°F) or lower for optimal freezing.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Preparing the Ice Cream Mixture
- Prepare your desired ice cream or sorbet mixture. Ensure the mixture is chilled in the refrigerator before adding it to the ice cream maker.
- Do not fill the bowl more than two-thirds full, as the mixture will expand during freezing. The maximum capacity is 1 liter.
5.2 Assembling and Starting the Ice Cream Maker
- Remove the frozen stainless steel bowl from the freezer.
- Place the mixing paddle inside the bowl.
- Pour the chilled ice cream mixture into the bowl.
- Attach the lid to the bowl, ensuring it is securely in place.
- Attach the motor unit to the lid. Ensure the paddle engages correctly with the motor unit.
- Place the assembled ice cream maker back into the freezer.
- Press the power button on the motor unit to start the churning process. The paddle will begin to rotate, mixing the ingredients.
5.3 Churning Process
- The churning process typically takes between 4 to 8 hours, depending on the recipe and your freezer's temperature.
- Monitor the consistency of the ice cream. It should thicken to your desired texture.
- Once the ice cream reaches the desired consistency, turn off the motor unit and remove the ice cream maker from the freezer.
- Carefully remove the motor unit and lid, then extract the paddle.
- Serve the ice cream immediately or transfer it to an airtight container for storage in the freezer.
